A Day Off

Today is my second day off since being here. After working the previous seven days and thirteen of the previous fourteen days, my boss decided it was time for me to take a day off. Even though I've been working many days, I haven't been working very many hours- very rarely getting above eight hours in a day. I'm sure before I know it, the fifteen hour days and 60+ hour weeks will be here. We finally started taking guests down the river on Saturday. For the trips that I've done, we haven't even filled up half the boat yet, so things are very slow. However, I did have an interesting question from a guest. Riding back from the float trip without my guide, I was asked if President Carter is from Atlanta. I'm sorry, but when was I supposed to study the history of the presidents for this job in Wyoming?
Even though we have had some 50 and 60 degree weather, there is still quite a bit of snow on the ground. It has been raining all day today, so it's been a great day to have off. I haven't done anything today but sleep in and laundry, although tonight I will be going to town with some of the guys from the float crew. I'm sorry this isn't very long, but there hasn't been too much to write about. Nothing too exciting has happened yet.

Take Care,
Adam Conrad
